Why should I buy an eBike from EBIKES DIRECT?
We offer straightforward, direct access to reputable, high quality eBikes sold at competitive prices. The eBikes we stock are made with safe, reliable name-brand components that any reputable bike shop can service and support. Our straightforward distribution model - click and collect via local distribution partners - means that we're able to stay competitive on pricing.
How do I know which eBike is the right one for me?
Unsure where to start? Why not take use our eBike selector tool to see if we have the right eBike for you? If we don't have anything suitable, don't worry... we won't try and flog the wrong eBike for you.
What brands of eBikes do you offer?
Ebikes Direct is the exclusive ANZ distributor for the eBike brands of Swiss E-Mobility Group, Zurich. These include Cilo, Simpel, EGO Movement and Allegro. New bikes are coming all the time - so sign up to our newsletter to be among the first to hear!
Can I test ride the eBike?
Maybe/Yes. We are growing our network of independent eBike retailers nationwide and can arrange for a test ride at a retailer near you if we have one. Please contact us to enquire about your area.
Where can i get the eBike serviced?
Our eBikes use Shimano drive and electrical systems, Shimano brakes and gears and other name-brand motors and components. Shimano is the world's biggest bike component company and its eBike drive systems are amongst global leaders. We also stand behind our products and supply dealers with parts and support as needed.
Can I get the bike delivered?
At the moment, our distribution model means th bikes are only available for collection from your local retailer. We typically have one major distributor in each capital city - collection availability will be listed for each bike.
How long after ordering will my bike be available for collection?
We typically recommend allowing up to two working weeks for your eBike to be ready for collection, though in many instances it will be much faster. Fulfilment time will also depend on whether or not you have ordered a bike with or without a build included.
Are eBikes delivered fully assembled?
Some of our bikes are sold built and ready to ride via dealers, and others come unassembled in a box as standard. Please check the information on the relevant eBike product page to confirm if the bike you are interested in arrives built or unbuilt. If bikes come unbuilt, we can happily arrange for the bike to be built prior to collection for an additional fee.
What is your return policy?
We offer a 30 day return policy on our eBikes, provided the bike is returned in a re-saleable condition. You can view our Warranty and Returns policies here
